  • Cover: Private Joel Molyneux, Company K, 141 Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Union Army of the Potomac - American Civil War 1861-65. Joel Molyneux's letters and diaries throughout that war have inspired his grandson Kermit Molyneux Bird to produce them in book form. Joel, son of Edward and Rebecca Molyeux was b. 1835, married his wife Elvira in 1865 and died in 1915. Kermit's mother Winifred M. (Bird) was the youngest of 6 children born to Joel and Elvira Molyneux in 1883.

Jane married Robert Molyneux at Knowsley Church, Lancashire, on New Year's Eve 1902.
